Passive House Canada works with architects, builders, and technical groups to set a whole new standard for building efficiency. The Clayton Community Centre is the first of its kind: the largest institutional building to meet the Passive House certification for sustainability. But to achieve this; designers and trades need to adopt new ways of working, which was a learning experience for the groups involved with the Clayton project.
Our Involvement
I was tasked in to create a series of comprehensive videos that would document and demonstrate the processes and benefits of the Passive House model. The organizations involved were keen to share their findings and solutions - confidently pioneering what will likely become the new standard in building efficiency. The films we created are used regularly within the architecture, construction and engineering industry to demonstrate the benefits of a Passive House project.
